Bio:
After listening to the opening track of "Wake Up For The Shake Down," you might get the impression that Michael Anderson is trying NOT to be heard. The album, Mike's first as a solo artist, contains twelve tracks full of whisper sung vocals and stories of alcohol fueled nights followed by mornings of repent. Overall, seeds of hope are planted throughout the mix, and life goes on. For the past ten years, "Flu" has been the main musical outlet for Mike, being one of it's founders ten years ago. Playing out consistently for the past nine plus years paid off this past summer when Flu went on to win Best Hard Rock Band for 2007 in the Hartford Advocate's Grand Band Slam. "Longevity is key," says Mike about being in a band or playing solo. "You can rise and you can fall, but as long as you continue, then there's no stopping you."
